About our client:

Our client, a leading provider of supply chain and logistics solutions, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Vice President of Finance in a full cycle capacity and be part of a great team and company!

Located in Woodbridge, ON, this is a hybrid working model (3d in the office to start with some flexibility once you've been fully onboarded, oriented and demonstrating solid work performance)

Responsibilities will include:

Full Cycle Accounts Payable
Full Cycle Accounts Receivable
General Accounting ( prepare month end accounting entries, prepare HST reports, bank reconciliations & intercompany reconciliations, cash flow forecasting )
Preparation of working papers for month-end, quarter-end and year-end
Liaise with Auditors during the annual audit
Financial Reporting
Support the VP of Finance as needed

Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, or Finance
5+ yrs in a similar capacity
Business Central experience is preferred but will consider someone with other ERP systems experience and Intermediate Excel
Multi-currency required
Experience with inventory accounting preferred
Self-starter
Analytical
The ability to articulate and communicate in a clear and concise manner
Business partnering experience
