In addition to day-to-day shift management and administration, General Managers are responsible for:

Providing overall leadership, establishing a sense of urgency, being a role model for the team
Working "hands-on" with the team
Maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and food safety
Demonstrating a "guest first" approach always
Hiring and training their staff
Promoting their operation in the local market
Coordinating in-store promotions
Developing and meeting financial plans

REQUIREMENTS
Previous Management experience in the hospitality industry
Passion for service and commitment to quality
Excellent comprehension of restaurant operational controls and financial statements
A thorough understanding of Food Safe and WorkSafe requirements
A proven record of training and developing a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership, high energy and enthusiasm
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
