Job Description: We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist on behalf of our esteemed client in Alliston.

Reporting to the Operations Manager or designate, the Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting all human resources functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive support for human resources programs, including but not limited to compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and staffing and recruitment.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding human resources policies and procedures, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Proactively identify and address potential workplace issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Counsel employees and management on work-related matters, offering guidance and support to facilitate resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Conduct full cycle recruiting activities, including reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings and interviews, presenting at job fairs, and preparing employment contracts.
Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations, completing new hire paperwork, enrolling employees into company software, and facilitating training sessions.
Oversee benefits enrolments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of enrolments, changes, and terminations.
Manage the Record of Employment (ROE) process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of ROEs for departing employees.
Uphold and promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of HR operations.
Regularly communicate findings and updates to relevant stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in human resources, incorporating insights to enhance HR programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on HR programs and operations.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to navigate complex HR issues with tact, discretion, and professionalism.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving workplace challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is preferred but not required.
