What we'll love about you:
This role presents an opportunity for professional growth, allowing individuals to acquire the experience and knowledge necessary to excel in the field. As such, preference will be given to recent graduates or those with up to one year of experience in a construction-related discipline.
2 Years Minimum experience as a purchaser or buyer in a manufacturing environment
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Possession of a Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) designation is considered an asset.
Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software.
What you'll work on:
As a Supplies Coordinator, you will support our production department in a variety of tasks aimed at streamlining our procurement activities and enhancing operational efficiency. Under the guidance of senior production members, your duties will include:
Preparing and maintaining accurate purchasing files, reports, and records, ensuring all procurement activities are well-documented.
Maintaining cooperative working relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative environment for negotiating and problem resolution.
Negotiating prices, terms, and service deliverables with suppliers to secure the best deals while maintaining quality and compliance with company standards.
Expediting materials and services as needed to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and project continuity.
Performing data entry, filing, and organization of documents to ensure a well-maintained and efficient office environment.
Shift:
We are actively hiring for the day shift, working 44 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:45 pm. Friday, 6:30 am to 11:30 am
Skills and experience in:
Negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, technical proficiency, attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, financial acumen.
