Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Therapy Services you will be responsible for assisting patients with therapeutic procedures, treatments and activities under the direction and general supervision of the responsible Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of minor equipment and supplies in the department and for the cleaning of equipment including the tidying of the department.

Mandatory Qualifications

Minimum 2 years current OT/PT Assistant experience in a hospital setting.
Graduate of an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant program from a recognized community college.
Current BCLS
Effective Steptember 7th, 2021 all applicants must provide proof of two doses for full vaccination against Covid-19 (in the form of watermark recripts from the provincial portal) or provide written proof of a medical or religious reason for not being fully vaccinated as per Organization Policy, Covid-19 Immunization and Management.
