Our Senior School is looking for a spectacular Instrumental Music teacher to join our exceptional community of faculty and staff. This is a full-time position commencing August 2024. In addition to teaching instrumental music, you'll foster a welcoming, inclusive and collaborative space to best support students in all that you do.

Position Requirements

A passion for inspiring students through Music education

A kind, enthusiastic and positive nature;

Strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills;

Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive school culture, to build a sense of belonging through music for each student;

Possess a high level of flexibility, energy, creativity, and a sense of humour;

A commitment to work collaboratively with other faculty to integrate music into student life;

A commitment to the co-curricular life of the school.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience preferred;

A degree in Music; major concentration in music education in instrumental instruction is an asset;

A Bachelor of Education in good standing eligible with the Ontario College of Teachers;

Experience teaching vocal music, piano and keyboard skills are definite assets;

Strong Piano skills are preferred.
