Senior Advisor, Learning
On behalf of our client Procom is looking for a Senior Advisor Learning, this is a 12 month contract in downtown Calgary.

Senior Advisor, Learning Job Details:
Reporting to the Lead, Instructional Design, the Senior Advisor, Learning provides consultancy and advisory services on learning solutions. This role is pivotal in managing partnerships for business and training needs, supporting the design, development, and implementation of technical, safety, and organizational learning solutions. It also involves overseeing relationships and contracts with external vendors to ensure optimal value, quality, and service.

The Senior Advisor, Learning will supervise external learning vendors to ensure that learning products adhere to modern adult learning principles and business objectives. Responsibilities include creating a vendor management strategy, identifying and evaluating potential vendors, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This role will also partner with internal stakeholders to assess learning needs and strategize solutions that align with corporate objectives. Furthermore, the advisor will be involved in project management tasks, instructional design, and the development of learning assessments and initiatives.

Senior Advisor, Learning Mandatory Skills:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Adult Learning, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in designing and delivering learning programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to execute projects independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Senior Advisor, Learning Desired Skills:
- Oil and Gas industry experience.
- Experience with ADDIE/SAM methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contemporary learning technologies.
- Experience with eLearning content development tools like Captivate and Articulate 360.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with virtual learning environments such as Zoom and Teams.

Senior Advisor, Learning Start Date:
Anticipated start date is June 2024.

Senior Advisor, Learning Location:
This hybrid position is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 remote work
