As a part of our growth, LKQ is looking for a dedicated and passionate Automotive Quality Control Clerk with knowledge of car repair and automotive parts. The job responsibilities of this role include cleaning, inspecting, and preparing LKQ product for shipment and delivery to our customers.

What will your daily routine be as a Automotive Quality Control Clerk?
Clean parts - buffing small parts, power washing the drive train, cleaning panels with soap and water,
Inspect parts - matching description and quality to how it was inventoried,
Communicate with sales reps - Using emails and/or phone to describe any discrepancies in quality or inventory of the part,
Prepare for shipment - protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place them in a cardboard box, wrap bumpers with a protective cover, place doors in racks divided by foam pads,
Load semi-trailers going to other LKQ facilities prepare racks with panels and small parts to be loaded on semi-trailers via forklift, and
Assume other duties as assigned.
What is the profile we are looking for?
Relevant automotive interest and or parts/repair experience considered an asset,
Basic computer skills,
Able to identify most car parts,
Ability to lift 50 lbs and more, and
Forklift experience (asset).
