This is a full-time on-site role as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle from conception to completion. The role involves managing high-profile customers, project budgets, timelines, while leading cross-functional teams toward successful project completions. The Project Manager will report directly to the COO and work closely with Design, and the Production Leads. This role will require the successful candidate to be detail-oriented, and a critical thinker. Managing project budgets, project workflows, resource planning, and internal and external communications are daily requirements for the Project Manager position at By Quality.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timeline, and resources required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams; Production Leads, Design, and the COO to define project budget, project objectives and deliverables.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates on milestones and addressing concerns.
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure furniture manufacturing meets quality standards.
Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to ensure project timelines are met.
Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow and minimize bottlenecks.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Anticipate and address potential challenges to prevent disruptions to project timelines.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Work closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including all RFI, drawings, specifications, and communications.
Create and update project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure client satisfaction by understanding and meeting project deliverables and communication expectations.
Address client feedback promptly and implement improvements as needed.
Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Stay on top of hospitality furniture manufacturing trends and best practices to enhance project management strategies.

What will you need to succeed?

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Management or a related field of study from an accredited school is _required_.
3+ years of proven Project Management experience in Furniture, Store Fixtures, or Building Construction is _required_.
Advanced understanding of AutoCAD and/or Solidworks, Microsoft Office, and general ERP software is _required_.
Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of the furniture manufacturing process, including materials, production techniques, and quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, internal teams, and external vendors.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Experience working collaboratively with Production staff, Designers, Purchasing, and Ownership groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to make timely and informed decisions.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proven track record of ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience in the hospitality or manufacturing industries _preferred_.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an _asset_.
Certification or training in furniture design or manufacturing processes is an _asset._
