Responsibilities:

Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.

CPA Designation is a must.

Accountant Job Description

We are looking to engage with an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets for our clients.

Accountant responsibilities include reviewing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Ideally you are an entrepreneur who understands the challenges and opportunities in a small to medium(SMB) business and the value that an experienced finance professional brings.

Ultimately, you will provide our clients with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we're compliant with all tax regulations.

We are looking to engage with a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain the financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments for our clients.
Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with the Finance team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree and is familiar with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks, Quickbooks and Xero as well as Receipt Bank, Hubdoc and Plooto.

Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of the company.

Responsibilities:

Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger

Bring the books to the trial balance stage

Perform partial checks of the posting process

Complete HST/GST forms

Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Requirements:

We are looking to engage with an experienced Financial Performance Management professional to provide consulting, implementation and support services for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for the implementation and customization projects of BPM solutions for mid to large sized clients.

Interact with client personnel at all levels from financial analysts and IT specialists to the CFO and CIO.

Provide industry and/or technology expertise to customers and utilizes best practice project management and implementation tools and methodologies to deliver clients solutions on time and on budget.

Provide architectural advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide support to the sales process in such areas as business development, proof-of-concepts and presentations.

Contribute to the development of methodologies, approaches, and models relevant to the Professional Services organization.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience and knowledge in IBM Cognos TM1 technology and a proven track record of successful implementations.

A minimum of three years of IBM Cognos TM1 and a successful track record of having managed several IT/Software development projects; proficient using Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, and Word.

Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and web environments.

50% travel may be required.

Must be able to legally work in the US.

Degree in business and/or technology, (MBA or an advanced degree desirable).
