Manpower is currently looking for a career-oriented individual responsible for a wide range of coordination duties. This will include coordinating with the supervisors and technicians on the floor, also offering a level of technical support. Our client located in Etobicoke, ON is a Canadian Crown corporation that is mandated to operate intercity passenger rail service in Canada.

Job Title: Deployment Coordinator
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Pay Range: $40/hr - $42/hr
Timings: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mon - Fri)

What's the Job?

  • Work with team leads and managers to ensure equitable division of tasks.
  • Coordination and communication with project managers and other internal clients.
  • Organize and coordinate Technical Services tasks and deliverables;
  • Monitor performance indicators for each service team, which report on delays, planning, and what remains to be done regarding tasks and deliverables.
  • Support contract managers with commercial discussions with the various Vendors
  • Conduct regular reviews with key collaborators to report on the work of each service team to highlight the progress of the work, risks, and issues.
  • Conduct task prioritization reviews to ensure that teams stay on track and that their tasks align with business priorities.
  • Floor & technical support for technicians & supervisors
  • Ensure tight follow ups on execution of regulatory tasks
  • Ensure regular follow-up with the various service specialists to check and record the progress of the work.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in administration, project management or 2 years of experience in production environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience of working in a unionized environment would be an asset.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint,
  • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills
  • Bilingual (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of Power Bi system an asset
  • Available to travel to Montreal based on the operational needs.
  • Available to work evenings and/or nights or weekends.
  • Available to work 8+ hr shift.
