On-the-job-training is provided for this position, including warehouse material handling equipment certification. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Wage: $19.87 / hour. Employees are paid a shift premium of $1.75 per hour for the hours between 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Location: M6 BDL Warehouse - Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 2V6
Shift Schedule:
Morning Shift: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday 6 Vacancies.
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday 6 Vacancies.
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday 8 Vacancies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Experience operating ride-on electric power-jack is preferred
Experience using RF scanners is preferred
Operating warehouse material handling equipment
Exhibiting strict attention to detail, maintain order accuracy
Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Ensuring all paperwork is completed to standard
Ensuring pallets/loads are built correctly
Able to work in ambient and refrigerated work environments
Maintaining cleanliness in work area
The position will be located at our west Edmonton facility and is bus accessible. The successful incumbents should be physically fit, able to stand for long periods and be comfortable with repetitive lifting. Candidates must have their own steel toed safety footwear. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
