We are now looking to add an experienced AZ driver to our ever-growing team!

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, hard-working and a team player. We are also looking for someone with at least one year experience driving manual transmission trucks. Boom Ticket and Moffett License are an asset.

JOB DETAILS:

Salary: $25.00-$34.35 per hour

Job Types: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Benefits: available after 6 months

Location: Nepean, ON

RESPONSIBILITIES: (but are not limited to)
Driving Safely while obeying all traffic laws.
Perform circle-checks and complete logbook entries.
Transport loads in a professional manner following the rules of the road and representing the company to the highest standards whether it being long-haul and/or local.
Verify load security and accuracy.
Pick up and deliveries of building materials and maintain an emphasis on safety, service, and efficiency.
Re-filling other trucks on site.
Communicate with customers and other trades on construction sites.
Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise.
Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Other duties assigned by management.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid AZ driver's license (or equivalent) with a minimum 2 years of experience
Abstract and CVOR printed within the last 30 days.
Transport Training Certificate
Tractor-Trailer experience (48' and 53' trailers).
Effective written and Oral communication skills.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Basic hand tool skills.
Ability to lift 70-80 up to 100 pounds.
Experience driving an 8-10 speed manual transmission
