As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities of our company. Your main objective will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the entire procurement process. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and requirements. - Source, select, and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capabilities, and overall performance. - Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to maximize value for the company. - Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures. - Monitor and track order status to ensure on-time delivery, and resolve any delivery or quality issues that may arise. - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing supplier performance, and conducting regular supplier evaluations. - Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to identify potential cost savings or improvement opportunities. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the finance department, to ensure proper budgeting, cost control, and adherence to procurement policies. - Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies that may benefit the company. - Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and other relevant information. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. - Continuously analyze and optimize the procurement process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: - College diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role, preferably in mention industry . - Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures. - Proficient in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in procurement activities. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
