Job Duties:
Gather and document user requirements to understand project needs.
Devise and implement database architecture for various information systems projects. Create, modify, integrate, and test data models and database management systems.
Provide insights and guidance to informatics professionals on selecting, applying, and implementing database management tools.
Utilize database management systems for data analysis and conduct data mining analyses.
Potentially lead, coordinate, or supervise other team members within this group.
Develop comprehensive policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access and usage.
Design protocols for the backup and recovery of data to ensure data integrity and availability.
