The Supplier Insights and Compensation team is seeking a Supplier Performance Management Advisor to support supplier research and insights activities. These activities will enable and drive strategic and operational decision making, mainly in supplier compensation, supplier reviews, contract commitments management, and category development, maintenance, and improvement.

The Supplier Performance Management Advisor will be a key player in supporting stakeholders in Strategic Sourcing and the broader ICBC business, as required. Key accountabilities include:

Supports the delivery of comprehensive and defensible research leveraging appropriate secondary and primary sources to develop, modify and maintain ICBC's supplier compensation frameworks. This includes analyzing internal supplier data, understanding the relevant supplier markets and emerging market trends, program structures and rate setting practices, and developing compensation strategies that are in line with ICBC's corporate priorities.
Performs supplier business reviews for ICBC's vendors and generates insights that effectively support ICBC's business areas.
Leads supplier contract commitment management activities, including performing contract compliance reviews, communicating key activities to stakeholders, and performing divisional/departmental reporting.
Effectively plans and communicates with internal business partners to ensure that supplier requirements are met, and insights are leveraged across the organization thereby optimizing potential benefits.
Supports components of activities related to category planning, category management, and process improvement.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

Position Requirements
Strong knowledge, experience, and proficiency in data analysis, particularly in advanced Excel functions and modeling, is a requirement for this role. The Supplier Performance Management Advisor should have the ability to convert large raw data sets into actionable business insights (>3 years).
Demonstrates proficiency in performing primary and secondary research with the ability to develop recommendations based on findings (>2 years).
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and experience delivering analysis and recommendations to management (>2 years).
Strong project management skills to accommodate multiple tasks, deliverables and deadlines as required (2 years).
Education and/or experience in the public procurement lifecycle and contract commitment management activities (>1 years).
Knowledge of the theory, principles, concepts and best practices of organization change, business transformation and change management.
Adaptable to dynamic changes to business priorities.
Ability to interact in a cross-functional environment, including stakeholders from other ICBC departments.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.

A post-secondary degree related to business and/or data analysis is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a professional designation (e.g. MBA, CFA, CPA) or an advanced degree that is in line with the position's requirements.

Experience with the following will be considered an asset in this role:
Basic ability to use Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
Basic understanding of ICBC's claims process and the related vendor groups.

Work arrangements defined:
Resident - you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled workdays.
Hybrid 8 - you will work a minimum of 8 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
Hybrid 10 - you will work a minimum of 10 days per month at your primary in-office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
Mobile - you will work remotely or in the field on scheduled workdays within British Columbia, with the requirement to be at your primary on-site headquarters by exception only.
