We are hiring a Supported Living Program Supervisor to join our team. This dynamic individual will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and safe operation of VITA's Program facilities.

THE ROLE:
Job Summary
The Supported Living Program Supervisor oversees the operations of a unionized supported living environment. In this role you are a leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring employees and maintaining high quality service for our members. You will be responsible for timely reporting of all policy and legislative requirements.

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in the developmental sector study, Social worker degree, University Degree in a related field or other relevant post-secondary education.
Minimum 5 years' experience post graduate working with individuals with disabilities.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required.
Driver's license and own vehicle required.
Must maintain current, valid and on-going certifications in mandatory courses offered by VITA such as: Abuse training, Back Care, First Aid, Fire Safety, Safe Management, Pharmacology and WHMIS.

Hours of Work:
80 hours biweekly (working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
based on program and member needs, as well as on-call responsibilities working one weekend a month and evenings).
(One afternoon per week one weekend shift per month)
Rate of Pay: Salary $60,900 - $74,174
