Role: Fullstack Engineer

Title: Assistant Vice President/Vice President

Location: Montreal (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)

Mode of Work: 3 days per week onsite required

Required experience: 4+ Years

You are: A true technical and/or domain ninja. Comfortable working in the quickly growing nature of profitable startups and have a "can do" attitude and are willing to take on any task thrown your way.

You will:

As an Assistant Vice President/Vice President help to develop and promote the company's culture of engineering excellence.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Expert level Java software engineering
Ability to deliver software based on deadlines
Strong development experience with Core Java/J2EE, and Angular
Strong development experience with Java frameworks like Spring. Hibernate, Spring boot.
Trading platforms or Post Trading Applications experience OR Prime Brokerage/ Swaps domain, securities/pricing domain knowledge is a plus
Ability to work in an agile software delivery method
Experience with JavaScript and Angular, React Frameworks
Expert in test driven development
Having worked in a commodity trading environment would be desirable and advantageous
Experience with continuous integration - Jenkins / Hudson
Familiarity with Git, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Sonar, Crucible, TeamCity, JIRA and the Atlassian tool set
Able to lead and mentor more junior members of the development community
Strong academic background - excellent degree from a top tier university is required in a subject that
demonstrates the need for logical thinking.
Expert level SQL development
JDBC expertise
Hands on experience in building web applications/components using Java, Spring/MVC, Hibernate
Good experience in building RESTful services using SOA architecture or any similar framework via API gateways.
Working experience of latest UI/JavaScript frameworks including NodeJS, AngularJS and HTML5
Ability to build responsive / user-friendly single-page web applications
Strong experience in working on RDBMS technologies like Oracle or SQL Server and familiarity with
