Job Description:

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $50,000.00 annually

Hours of work per week: 35

Status: Full-time, permanent

Mandate: Reporting to the Freight Manager, the Ocean Freight Coordinator is responsible for monitoring international cargo from origin to destination, liaising daily with origin offices and partners, managing manifests, customs clearance, and delivery instructions. The candidate is also responsible for ensuring timely processing and upkeep of accounting/billing for clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration

Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations

Familiarity with customs clearance processes and import/export regulations

Minimum 2 years of experience using CargoWise One system and Laserfiche is required

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word and Excel slicers, v-lookups, build formulas/automation)

CIFFA designation is considered an asset
