Job Posting Our client, in Manufacturing is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

As an A/P, you will be part of the Finance department. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in an A/P capacity with experience in matching all aspects of Purchase Orders and Receiving Reports to invoices and following up on variances which will align successfully in the organization.

$21- $22/hr

Hours:

8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday

What's the Job?

• Thoroughly examine invoices submitted to the company, identifying any potential errors or discrepancies
• Conduct thorough investigations into billing discrepancies and promptly resolve them
• Post A/P data in ERP system
• Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections
• Back up receptionist

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable roles, including expertise in reconciling Purchase Orders and Receiving Reports with invoices, and proficiently addressing any discrepancies
• Ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Strong knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices
• Able to perform moderate to complex accounts payable reconciliations
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs and applications
