Our client is sourcing a Manager - External Reporting for a 6-Month Contract.

About the Opportunity

• Accountable for the preparation and review of consolidated external reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements, offering memoranda, etc., and review of supporting workpapers to ensure accuracy of reports
• Oversees the planning for and coordination of compiling information and input from stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Accountable for the preparation and review of the monthly internal reporting package including balance sheets, income statements and cash flows and other key financial information for various senior finance leaders
• Accountable for the multi-currency global consolidation and close process including oversight of the close calendar and coordination with the global business units to ensure the consolidation is performed on a timely basis
• Managing day-to-day corporate accounting function acting primarily in a review capacity for journal entries, account reconciliation and account analysis
• Identify and implement incremental process improvements where appropriate
• Determine appropriate accounting for significant transactions, research technical accounting issues and draft accounting memos to support accounting conclusions under both GAAP and IFRS
• Lead in the implementation of new accounting standards and preparation of standard global accounting policies under both US GAAP and IFRS
• Lead in special project and initiatives

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8 - 12 years' experience in an Accounting/Finance environment
• Designation of CPA preferred
