Provide project budget at each stage of the design progress
Assist in creating and maintaining project schedule
Assist development team during design phase with VE and cost saving options
Assist development and construction teams in contacting trades for material selection for future projects
Analyze project budget and schedule issued by cost consultant and CM
Coordinate meetings with cost consultants and CM to review discrepancies between different budgets
Handover project final budget and schedule to construction team when construction begins
Assist in tendering process by trade selection, tender scope reviews, attend qualification meetings and final trade selection
Assist in monthly cost review during the construction process
Assist in scope / cost review of change orders during the construction
Create and maintain companywide cost and schedule records for previous and ongoing project

5-10+ years of experience in the role of Construction Estimator within a High-Rise Residential General Contracting (GC) and / or Developer firm having been the sole or lead Estimator with a clear track record of successfully won projects
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management is required
PQS designation is a must
Experience working on large projects with over $150MM-$300MM value
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar
University or College Degree in construction management, engineering or quantity surveying
Extensive knowledge and experience with estimating techniques, tendering process and negotiating contract
Ability to read and interpret construction related documents including plans, specifications, and other technical material
Experience working with estimating software programs such as Bluebeam and On-screen Takeof
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe
Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with project team, subtrades, consultants and client
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, strong math skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly developed interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
Sense of urgency, flexibility, and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
Delivering projects using CCA 5a, CCA 5b, CCDC 2, CCDC 3 and CCDC 14 Prime Contracts
Experience using CCA 1 & CCA 17 Sub-Contracts
Proficiency in the use of construction project management software (ProCore or similar), as well as BlueBeam, BIM, MS Project, MS excel
