About the Opportunity
Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable
Process registrations, invoices, expense reports, reimbursements and bank deposits
Reconcile credit card transactions
Support the month-end and year-end close processes by performing reconciliations and preparing journal entries
Prepare financial reports and funding reconciliations, under the guidance of senior staff members
Utilize Excel and accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects
About You
A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) is required.
Previous internship or part-time experience in accounting or finance is preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting profession.
Sage experience (preferably Sage 50)
Must be comfortable working in office 5 days a week
Salary Range
$50,000 - $55,000/year
