About the Opportunity

Risk Assessment and Management

Work with Risk Management Coordinator to develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks. Identify and assess the risks affecting the business, including financial, operational, legal, and compliance risks.

Internal Control Framework Development and Maintenance

Collaborate with cross functional teams to:

  • Design, assess, implement, and maintain an internal control framework that aligns with CNO's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the internal controls are adequate, effective, and efficient in managing CNO's risks.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with changes in regulatory, legal and compliance topics to adjust internal controls as necessary.

Internal Control Evaluation and Improvement

Conduct regular reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls. Recommend and implement improvements to internal controls, processes, and procedures.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and present reports on the status of internal controls, risk management, and compliance activities to management and relevant committees. Communicate with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations.

Training and Development

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on internal controls, risk management, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

About You

Accounting Designation

Professional certification such as CIA will be an asset

3 – 5 years of experience in internal control department, with proven experience on managing internal controls independently

Strong understanding of financial and operational processes, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various levels of management and staff.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Rate

$40/hour
