About the Opportunity

Finance Transformation

Liaise with sector finance teams and technology teams within the company to prioritize process improvement and system enhancement initiatives. Align finance transformation strategy milestones with real estate management team's workstreams, deliverables, and timelines. Lead the various phases of finance transformation projects (Reporting & Treasury initiatives, RPA initiatives, ERP system enhancements, and CPM consolidation tool enhancements) including scoping & requirements definition, design & build, and testing & implementation. Work with sector finance teams and decision makers, technology team, and end users to define data and reporting requirements, and design solutions that will meet their needs. Define and lead project teams comprising of sector finance team members and technology team members to deliver on business requirements. Validate the quality of data and reporting solutions through UAT testing; identify and raise issues that arise from UAT testing to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner, and own issues to resolution. Manage documentation of finance operations and reporting processes, procedures, and controls, analyze sector to sector procedural inconsistencies, and recommend process improvements. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Team Training & Development

Review work of team members and provide feedback for improvement. Monitor and analyze team performance to achieve performance targets. Lead, coach, develop and evaluate team members.

About You

  • Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA preferred)
  • At least 5+ years of progressive work experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience
  • Experience in effectively managing a team and overseeing the execution of various work streams and multiple deliverables
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in various systems and tools (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, Hyperion, OneStream, Treasury Systems, Anaplan, Power BI, Chatham, RPA, etc.) and adaptability with learning new applications
  • Experience in real estate and/or working experience in industry is an asset

Salary Range

$115,000 - $120,000/year
