About the Opportunity

Assist in Canadian and US corporate and partnership tax filings

Generate and update tax project tracking reports

Organize and document tax related files and preparation of supporting documents

Prepare and maintain government remittances/filings, such as GST, EHT and payroll

Assisting in tax research and revise memos and reports

Provide support to the senior members of tax and other departments as needed

Maintain online tax portals and liaise with Canadian and US tax authorities on tax administrative matters

About You

3-4 years of large or medium public accounting firm experience, inclusive of minimum 2 years progressive tax experience. Or equivalent tax experience in the financial industry.

Proficient use of Excel, Microsoft Office Word, Power Point

Professional and clear communication skills; verbal and written.

Problem-solving skills and agility

Attention to detail, ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple priorities.

US tax knowledge and experience a strong asset

FATCA & CRS analyst experience a strong asset

Other business tax experiences an asset

Salary Range

$130,000 - $140,000/year
