Join Bettermode as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and be at the forefront of driving our new business growth. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your passion for sales and technology to qualify leads, nurture them, and seamlessly transition them to our Account Executive (AE) team. Your mission will be to engage potential customers, follow up on leads with precision, and identify those ripe for conversion. We're looking for someone who's excited about sales and skilled in forging strong connections quickly. Responsabilities

  • Respond to, engage with, and qualify leads and inquiries, acting as the first point of contact in the sales cycle.
  • Schedule sales demonstrations for qualified prospects, providing detailed and tailored presentations of Bettermode's solutions.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through innovative and personalized follow-up communications to foster relationships.
  • Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to ensure a high-quality pipeline.
  • Conduct engaging conversations through various channels such as Zoom calls, Intercom chats, and emails, ensuring a positive and informative interaction with potential clients.
  • Schedule demonstration meetings for the Account Executives upon identifying accounts that meet qualification criteria, ensuring a seamless transition in the sales process.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Bettermode product offerings, effectively communicating the benefits and features to prospects.
  • Manage and update all contact and opportunity information within Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and lead progression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or experience demonstrating knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
  • Proven success in business development, demonstrating effective use of core sales tools such as Salesforce, Intercom, LinkedIn, and GSuite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a sales team, contributing to team goals and objectives.
  • Ability to understand prospects' pain points and correlate potential business to the value provided by Bettermode.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • A strong sense of urgency for achieving goals and key deliverables, exhibiting initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Office Attendance:
    • Regular Schedule: Required in-office attendance is 4 days weekly, with at least 3 overlapping days with the team.
    • Probation Period: For the first 3 months, a 5-day in-office attendance is necessary for a thorough onboarding experience.
    • Location: Situated in Toronto near Union Station and the Waterfront.
