SUMMARY
We are excited to create a new bilingual Human Resources Generalist position based in Quebec. In addition to providing guidance and support, in French, to our front-line leaders and employees in Quebec, the Human Resources Generalist will provide the same service, in English, to front-line leaders and employees in other provinces. A major focus of this position is full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
- Provide Human Resources services and guidance in French to Quebec managers, supervisors, and employees, and in English for other provinces
- Coordinate Human Resources activities for the employee lifecycle.
- Full cycle recruiting: posting job vacancies, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, coordinating background checks, presenting offers, and onboarding new employee
- Assist with projects and programs for corporate or other provinces as assigned
- Assist with translating Human Resources documents from English to French, and French to English.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Human Resources
- 3+ years corporate recruiting experience
- 3+ years experience as a Human Resources Professional such as Generalist, Specialist, Business Partner, or similar capacity
- Understanding of employment law

LINGUISTIC REQUIREMENTS
- Read, write, and speak French fluently
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
EDUCATION
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, or Human Resources Management
- CPHR designation or working towards achieving designation
