POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Administrator is responsible for processing and maintaining time and attendance records, including absences, shift adjustments, overtime, and other payroll-related transactions. The position also provides administrative support for production operations, reporting, projects, and employee engagement activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ensure all time and attendance edits are made in the system, i.e., absences shift adjustments, overtime, etc.
  • Work with HR to assist with payroll support to ensure accurate and on time delivery of payroll.
  • Organize and maintain records related to production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist in researching, analyzing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports.
  • Deal directly with production personnel to help prepare and collect documents and forms. Assist cell leaders and production leadership in a wide variety of administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for ensuring office supplies are stocked and re-order as required.
  • Maintain assorted lists and reports, support fund raising and community events.
  • Support and prepare Town Halls, social /community events and activities.
  • Provide back up support for the production administrator at MCI.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, oracle and postage machine usage
  • Excellent written and oral communications Skills
  • Ability to organize, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to function within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in any administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment will be an asset
