Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Janitor/Office Maintenance Handyman to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. This energetic role involves performing cleaning duties, conducting minor repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our office spaces and operational areas. This position will begin in late November and will be scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling both regular cleaning duties and basic maintenance or handyman tasks as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain a pristine environment.
• Conduct commercial cleaning of office spaces, break rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and common areas with attention to detail.
• Carry out basic maintenance duties such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor repairs around the facility.
• Monitor the condition of facilities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment.
• Support overall facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.

Requirements

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning services or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating basic maintenance tools.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Reliable with a proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively.
