The Landmark Group is an award-winning leader in luxury residential landscape design and construction throughout the Blue Mountains and Southern Georgian Bay. For nearly 40 years, we've been creating exceptional outdoor living spaces while building lasting relationships with our clients.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives on leading people, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on jobsites, solving problems, supporting construction teams, and ensuring every client receives an outstanding experience.

We're looking for someone who naturally plans ahead, follows through on commitments, and takes pride in keeping projects organized from start to finish.

What You'll Do

As Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple high-end residential landscape construction projects while leading field teams, supporting clients, coordinating resources, and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Landmark's high standards.

Project Management
  • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple landscape construction projects.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, trucks, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare project packages, including drawings, specifications, and site notes.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings with foremen before construction begins.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality through regular site visits.
  • Identify potential issues early and resolve them before they impact the project.
  • Track project costs, change orders, and time-and-material work.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
Client Experience
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients throughout each project.
  • Be the primary point of contact during construction.
  • Provide proactive project updates and communicate schedule changes before clients need to ask.
  • Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and client questions.
  • Send regular progress photos throughout construction.
  • Conduct project closeouts and follow up to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate warranty items and post-project follow-up.
Leadership
  • Coach, support, and motivate construction foremen and field teams.
  • Remove obstacles so crews can work efficiently.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, organization, and communication.
Planning & Coordination
  • Plan projects several weeks ahead to ensure crews remain productive.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries well in advance.
  • Ensure materials are ordered before they are needed.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules and communicate changes proactively.
  • Work closely with designers, suppliers, builders, and consultants to keep projects moving smoothly.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Review and approve employee timesheets.
  • Monitor project budgets and job costing.
  • Document and communicate change orders before work proceeds.
  • Code invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate project information within LMN.
  • Support timely project invoicing.
Health & Safety
  • Promote and enforce all company health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate utility locates prior to construction.
  • Ensure crews maintain safe work practices.
  • Lead by example in creating a safe work environment.
What Success Looks Like
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Think ahead rather than react to problems.
  • Keep projects organized, profitable, and on schedule.
  • Communicate proactively and follow through on commitments.
  • Support foremen while holding high standards for quality and accountability.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience from project start to completion.
