Job Duties:

Position Overview

This dual role involves safe, efficient truck operation and occasional driver training responsibilities. You'll play a key part in ensuring our new drivers are well-prepared, confident, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

•Operate trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes.

•Provide hands-on training for new drivers, including company procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.

•Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.

•Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation.

•Ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations.

•Support onboarding processes for new hires when required.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

•Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract.

•Minimum 3 years of professional truck driving experience.

•Dump truck experience preferred.

•Previous experience training or mentoring drivers is an asset.

•Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
