About the role

The NewRich Network is looking for a talented part-time email marketing specialist to join our email operations team, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

Email marketing plays a critical part of our customer acquisition strategy for all of our platforms here at NewRich Network.

Our email operations team is a key piece of our marketing strategy - and we're looking to grow our subscriber base through the email channel.

You will play a critical role on our Email Operations Team. You will report to our Email Marketing Manager and will work closely with our content writers, system admin's, and data analysts on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive email campaigns to support the NewRich Network and all of our web properties.
  • Build and maintain email templates within our current email service provider.
  • Administrate recurring newsletters and evergreen marketing tactics
  • Consult with stakeholders to develop an email strategy.
  • Define email list requirements and ensure emails are delivered on time to the right audiences.
  • Comply with CAN-SPAM & CCPA guidelines and help govern email list recipients.
  • Test campaigns, making sure they render properly within various mailbox providers.
  • Monitor deliverability and help remediate blocks or IP issues.
  • Track progress of campaigns and update stakeholders during meetings.
  • Consult with stakeholders to develop an email strategy.
  • Construct and implement an all-encompassing email marketing strategy.
  • Generate email lists and launch campaigns.
  • Develop and design various Call-to-Actions (CTAs) and email templates.
  • Assess the success of each campaign.
  • Define the key performance indicators for email marketing.
  • Generate and share weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Develop effective email segment lists.
  • Work to increase the number of email subscriptions.
  • Evaluate data to gain valuable insights.
  • Propose enhancements based on analysis.
  • Segment lists based on factors such as past email interaction and website engagement.
  • Produce guidelines and plans for processes, A/B testing, and email-based promotional successes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • A strong background in investing and equity markets.
  • Experience working at or with a very large publisher
  • Detail-oriented along with a precise and clear communication style.
  • Experience working closely with developers on a technical level.
  • A highly collaborative, team-oriented individual comfortable with managing an experienced team.
  • High proficiency in email marketing tools and analytics.
  • Experience developing email marketing campaigns, including but not limited to strategy, HTML coding, and pushing tactics live into the market.
  • Stay updated on all Email Service Providers (like Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Pardot) updates and marketplace changes.
  • Manage software updates and sender and delivery profiles.

Compensation

60,000–70,000 CAD (full-time equivalent; pro-rated for part-time)
