  • Own the backlog – Maintain a detailed, groomed backlog, write acceptance criteria, identify test case areas, and organize ongoing release plans.
  • Boost team performance – Evaluate team performance and velocity for areas for improvement alongside scrum, engineering, and quality assurance. Implement changes to ensure great feature success, product adoption, mitigate risks, and improve velocity.
  • Champion quality – Perform User Acceptance Testing on new features coming back to ensure fidelity with the original vision and adherence to the documented requirements & UX and provide level 3 escalation support for user issues.
  • Bridge product and engineering – Maintain an exceptional communication channel and working relationship with the Engineering teams to discussing requirements, seeking clarifications, and raising risks

In the first 6 months, you'll be successful at reaching these milestones:

  • Build an exceptional working relationship with engineering, quality assurance, scrum, and developers.
  • Identify a strategic feature and be responsible for its progress through the discovery and development process.
  • Own the POS backlog through the Ready for Dev process
  • Become an expert in how POS works, product nuances, and be able to identify root causes of issues
  • Understand the technical & architectural details of each requirement to be able to troubleshoot scope challenges during development via clarification or alternative methods.

If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:

  • I have knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and related application integrations such as online ordering, kitchen management systems, digital payments, mobile apps, bookkeeping platforms, and reporting.

  • I'm familiar with, selling, deploying, or supporting Point-of-Sale systems.
  • I have formal education and/or experience in Nutrition Science and Dietetics or software used in this knowledge area
