Paladin Security is seeking a professional and reliable Healthcare Security Guard for a casual position at Campbellford Memorial Hospital. You'll work alongside a small, dedicated team focused on safety, customer service, and emergency response in a dynamic healthcare environment. • Location: Campbellford Memorial Hospital – 146 Oliver Rd
• Status: Casual (as-needed basis)
• Schedule: Day (8 AM – 8 PM) and/or Night (8 PM – 8 AM) shifts
• Availability: Must be able to work 2–3 shifts/week, including weekends and holidays
• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.50/hour
• Overtime: After 88 hours (Averaging Agreement)

• Perform access control, patrols, and incident response throughout the hospital
• Monitor public areas and assist in de-escalating conflict when necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports for all site activity and incidents
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
• Conduct Patient Watch and other safety-focused duties as assigned
• Program access cards and manage database records

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C (from WSIB-approved provider)
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Double COVID-19 vaccination (proof required)
• Full MMR immunization (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Immunization records for Varicella, Pertussis, and TB (Step 1 & 2)
• Willing and able to be clean-shaven for N95 mask fit testing
• Valid G Class Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Minimum 1 year of security experience required
• Healthcare security experience preferred
• Must provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB
• If not currently certified, Paladin offers complimentary training (with 6-month commitment; training unpaid as it is a pre-requisite)
