Synopsis: The designer should have a strong understanding and knowledge of the show style, as well as the ability to adapt creatively based on show requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Be extremely familiar with show bible and creative materials related to the project and any other relevant information
  • Collaborate with Directors and Art Director on expected style for all assets
  • Complete all rough, revised and final designs necessary within assigned deadlines
  • Review and execute client notes
  • Resolve design problems with the team
  • Ensure all deadlines are met, communicate possible delays to production staff
  • Communicate progress of work to appropriate production staff
  • Ensure all artwork is properly backed up and saved appropriately
  • Ensure all shipping materials are prepared and ready on time
  • Support the other team designers in the creative process as needed
  • Working in a manner aligned with Kickstart's Core Values
  • And such other duties as Kickstart may assign from time to time

Requirements

  • 3+ Years as a concept artist or design generalist
  • Experience in a senior designer role is a plus
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and perspective
  • Strong understanding of color and lighting
  • Proficiency of Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability of working independently and as part of a team. High level of flexibility and collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, good communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to compile reference materials
  • 3D/CG experience

Salary Range: $1,600 - $1,800 weekly / $83,200 - 93,600 annually
Full-Time for approximately 22 weeks

Hybrid (Work in studio and remotely from home on a weekly basis)
