We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Stacker Operator to join our logistics and warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating reach stackers to efficiently handle, load, and unload containers and cargo, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach stackers to move, stack, and unstack containers and heavy loads.
- Conduct daily inspections and safety checks on equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of cargo and containers.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities.
- Maintain accurate records of operations and equipment use.
- Report mechanical issues or damages promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience operating reach stackers or similar heavy machinery.
- Valid certification/license for operating heavy equipment (e.g., reach stacker certification).
- Knowledge of load capacities and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Good physical condition with the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications Required:
- Valid reach stacker operator certification.
- Heavy machinery operator license (if applicable in your region).
- Safety training certificates (First Aid, AWP, Confined Space, Whimis, TDG).
Preferred Qualifications:
- HEO (Heavy Equipment Operator) certification.
- Certification in telehandler operation.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or port operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
