The Nitty-Gritty:
Big Viking Games is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our team and support our flagship titles—YoWorld and FishWorld! As a key member embedded within our product pods, you'll work at the intersection of Product, Marketing, FP&A, and Data to evaluate player behaviour, refine monetization strategies, and automate key workflows across live ops. Reporting into the Product org, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced gaming environments and wants to see their insights directly impact millions of players.
You'll help drive smarter decisions across roadmap planning, feature development, campaign performance, and in-game economy optimization—while also championing next-gen analytics and automation.
The Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain weekly dashboards that surface actionable insights around DAU, player spend, content performance, and pricing effectiveness.
- Analyze player behaviour, campaign performance, and monetization trends to guide product roadmap and in-game economy adjustments.
- Model revenue projections, adoption curves, and pricing experiments across new features and gameplay loops.
- Lead impact analysis on campaigns (e.g., Gem Events, Challenges, Reactivation Offers) and new gameplay features (e.g., SplashO, Storylines).
- Partner with FP&A to track cost savings and platform migration performance (e.g., Facebook to .com).
- Identify production inefficiencies and recommend workflow optimizations across IAP config, asset throughput, and content velocity.
- Collaborate with Data and Operations to build automation tools and agentic workflows that streamline campaign planning and content delivery.
Requirements
The Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of experience in product, business, or game analytics, ideally in mobile or live-ops gaming environments.
- Strong SQL skills with proven ability to translate messy data into clean, actionable insights.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining performance dashboards (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools).
- Demonstrated experience analyzing monetization strategies, pricing experiments, and feature adoption.
- Comfort modelling financial outcomes and player segmentation to inform product decisions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
The Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with data from gaming platforms like Facebook, mobile, or web-based live ops tools.
- Exposure to Python or R for deeper statistical analysis or automation tasks.
- Understanding of AI workflows, LCM automation, or content lifecycle systems.
- Background in performance marketing analytics or campaign optimization is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive salary, bonus program, Group Retirement Savings Plan matching & participation
- Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and vision), including generous time off policies
