Pay rate: $22
Shift timings: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am- 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Manage sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and timelines.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead and mentor procurement team members (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management; 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Quickbooks or similar).
- Knowledge of contract law, vendor management, and cost reduction techniques.
- Professional certification such as CPP, CPM, or SCMP is an asset.
