Within Sopra Steria's Aeroline division, you will join the team in our Montreal office, reporting to the Managing Director. Aeroline is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria. Sopra Steria is a leading digital service provider in the aerospace industry, dedicated to transforming the way aerospace companies operate through innovative digital solutions. Position Summary

We are seeking a Digital Shopfloor Support to join our dynamic team. You ensure several steps of digital shopfloor application in aerospace sector: deployment, support. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

Digital Shopfloor Support:

  • You support users in use of shopfloor applications.
  • Coaching/Training of newcomers.
  • Writing bugs sheet or specification of evolution requests.
  • Act as a link between users and the solutions project team.
  • Solutions update testing before deployment

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular status reports, project documentation, providing transparent visibility into project progress, milestones, and outcomes.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with customers in aerospace industry is preferred.

Education & Certifications:

  • DEC's degree (Diploma of College Studies) in manufacturing engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Skills & Achievments:

  • You are comfortable using IT solutions and supporting users.
  • First experience in root cause analysis, IT problem-solving abilities.
  • Writing of technical documents (BRD, specification,…).
  • Technical discussions with end users.
  • Knowledge of digital technologies, and their applications in the aerospace sector.
  • Understanding of aerospace industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Languages:

  • French, English (professional)
