Junior Scale Service Technician

Rose Scale Ltd. is currently looking for a full time Junior Repair / Calibration Technician. This is an entry level position to learn the skills required in the weigh scale industry. The ideal candidate will assist a lead technician with set up, installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of scales and related products. Travel within eastern Ontario region on a daily basis required; and return daily. Company vehicle and phone supplied.

• Maintain a clean / presentable appearance.
• Ability to prepare paperwork – work orders, certificates
• Work place safety – shop and field requirements are adhered to.
• Work in organized, tidy fashion
• Maintain personal and company owned tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00 / hour to start.

• Fit and able to work with test weights, rigging etc.
• Able to work in hot / cold / wet environments.
• Maintain acceptable level of attendance.
• Clean driving and criminal record.
• Able to work 8+ hours / day per week.
• Work independently or as a team.
• Good communicator with peers and customers.
• Clean, professional appearance.

Required Skills *

• Valid G license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to retain information.
• Post secondary education is an asset.
