Park Paving Ltd. currently looking for an READY MIX CONCRETE BATCH DISPATCH/BATCH-PERSON to work at our plant located in Edmonton. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receiving calls/requests from both our company's concrete construction operations, and external customers, regarding orders for on-site delivery, or pick-up from the plant.
• Efficiently coordinating the loading of trucks at the plant based on client requirements and other scheduling demands
• Coordinating and/or working with plant personnel to execute the manufacturing of concrete, or performing plant maintenance
• Understanding the different requirements and production methods for multiple concrete mix designs
• Ensuring all required concrete tickets, logs, and records, are complete on time for all orders.
• Ensuring all safety procedures have been followed, and safety measures are in place, for any plant activity.
• Reporting to supervisors and management on fleet performance and suggesting improvements, or providing solutions to issues, to improve efficiency of material movement and fleet performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have strong operating knowledge of concrete plants
• Thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Poses strong safety-minded approach to completing all work.
• Work well in a variety of work settings including being outdoors (in various weather conditions), at heights, as well as indoors.
• Have strong organizational skills to process and share the large volumes of information received on a daily basis.
• Poses the strong communication skills necessary to work with both our company's construction operations and ready mix truck fleet, and external customers.

Pay Scale: $27 - $32 per hour
