Every year, trillions of dollars are spent in the U.S. on public infrastructure to maintain our quality of life and move our economy forward. However, our infrastructure is no longer equipped to meet the needs of the future. We hear about American infrastructure failures, whether it be bridge collapses, power blackouts, or water main breaks, every day in the news. Climate change and extreme weather events are disrupting the core America infrastructure we take for granted.

The need has been so great that bipartisan efforts at the federal level have passed the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) and other legislation to accelerate spending to this aging infrastructure. Most importantly, our infrastructure plays a vital role in our national security and the ability for us to project and insulate our American way of life from threats, foreign and domestic.

Citylitics is solving the hardest data problems in infrastructure while building the sales intelligence platform that enables a faster, more transparent, and more efficient infrastructure marketplace. We turn millions of unstructured documents into high value intelligence feeds and datasets that are available on an intuitive user experience. Our goal is to enable solution providers (Civic Engineers, Manufacturers, Construction Companies) to connect with cities and their relevant infrastructure needs in a faster and more digital way than historic market channels. As even more of the leading U.S. Infrastructure companies adopt our platform, cities & utilities will be able to access newer, smarter infrastructure solutions that deliver on the promise of moving towards a more resilient, sustainable, and equitable future.

Who Are We Looking For?
Citylitics is seeking a well-rounded and curious Revenue Analyst to uncover data insights that will boost our go-to-market strategy. This summer internship or recent graduate opportunity is a hands-on research role that requires technical excellence combined with an intuition for identifying what matters amidst a sea of incomplete information.

You will embody Citylitics' value of being relentless and resourceful as you research Sales prospects, expansion opportunities, and potential new markets, focused on Citylitics' revenue grow over the next 1 to 5 years. You will work alongside our entire go-to-market team: Demand Gen, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to test ideas with data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate has a keen interest in business and sales strategy, has strong data literacy and numbers sense, and collaborates effectively in a hybrid work environment.


What Will You Accomplish?
Your day-to-day tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Researching sales prospects, companies, and industry news on a variety of platforms including LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Gong, and industry publications.
  • Supporting the GTM leadership in building a revenue strategy by finding data to back up hypotheses and revenue models.
  • Improving our data hygiene and workflows throughout the customer lifecycle in our CRM, Hubspot. This includes data cleanup tasks on our CRM as assigned.
  • Research and analysis to define Citylitics' Total Addressable Market for both our current product and for future product expansions.
  • Complete data collection and research projects assigned, in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must-haves

  • Intuition for sales and business strategy
  • Strong math literacy and data analysis
  • Good judgment on the quality and value of business intelligence
  • Creativity to approach problems from multiple angles
  • Broad skills and interests and able to learn and pivot quickly
  • Takes initiative and enjoys collaborating with multiple teams (Finance, Sales, Demand Generation, Data Intelligence)
  • Working knowledge of business finance

Nice-to-haves

  • Data visualization skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Hubspot or similar CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Prior experience with revenue modeling
