The Concrete Quality Inspector/Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes related to concrete in construction projects. This role involves ensuring that concrete materials meet specified standards, monitoring the concrete mixing and pouring processes, conducting tests to assess concrete strength and durability, and collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.

This position is at a major industrial facility local to Edmonton, the schedule is 14 on 7 off with LOA provided.

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Relevant education, training, or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in concrete pre-pour inspection – rebar, forms, anchor bolt placement
• Experience in concrete placing & curing
• Experience in post-pour inspections
• Ability to manage associated quality records
• 14x7 schedule.
• 10+ years of heavy concrete foundation experience.
