Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a Field Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is site based, working two weeks in/two weeks out, 11 hour days.

The Field Superintendent is responsible for:

- ensuring contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements

- reviewing and/or developing detailed work plans according to workface planning processes

- may perform supervision of direct field labour on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standard

- will oversee the contractor's activities of a mechanical/piping nature

- inspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards, identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficiencies

- monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and working collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers

- daily validation and approval of contractor submitted labour, equipment and material reports

- coordinating field activities between contractors and the operations team as required

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Journeyperson status in E/I or Mech
• Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with a multi-discipline mechanical work
• Previous experience in a brown field construction environment
• Proficient computer skills
