OVERVIEW

The basic function of a Driver & Warehouse Assistant is to assist with the scheduling and receipt of deliveries on site.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Site

· Operates small tools as required.

· Performs a variety of misc. job site labour tasks, when required.

General

· Completes time sheets and logs all time against jobs allowing for accurate job costing to identify areas to improve both efficiency and estimating (future).

· Ensure that all materials/supplies are logged and returned from site to the warehouse when each job is complete.

· Performs a variety of miscellaneous job site labour tasks, when required.

· Operates small tools as required.

· Develops and maintains excellent relationships with all members of the Flat Iron team as well as with landlords and sub trades (sub-contractors, suppliers).

· Complete daily vehicle inspection (on Procore).

· Ensures that the company vehicle is properly maintained. This includes documenting maintenance work done on the vehicle and posting it on the AUTOsist app.

Warehouse

· Maintains and organizes the Flat Iron warehouse. This includes having additional stock of miscellaneous materials as well as Health & Safety supplies.

Communication

· Responds to phone calls, emails and texts within 2 business hours. Follow up all phone calls with emails detailing specific actions and deadlines.

· Uploads photos in Procore when instructed (daily, weekly, monthly).

Health & Safety

· Prepares all Health and Safety bins for sites.

· Prepares all First Aid kits per regulated quantities.

· Monitors and tracks all safety supplies that are delivered to site for project mobilization and demobilization.

· Ensures all required training is up to date.

· Practices safe work procedures.

· Identifies and alerts team of any safety infractions.

· Understands all COR requirements.
