Entuitive is looking for a Junior Structural Technician, based in our Vancouver office. Take the opportunity to learn more about the structural engineering service at Entuitive.

What will you do?

  • Perform regular field reviews and report preparation.
  • Perform construction administration duties such as shop drawings, change orders and progress billings review; response to RFI's, issuance of Site Instructions and the like.
  • CAD/BIM modelling and structural design tasks may be assigned as portions of your job responsibilities when required.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

  • An applicable diploma in Building Engineering / Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience on site and working with contractors is considered an asset.
  • Educational or work experience in structural drafting and design is considered an asset.
  • Ability to conceptualize structural and architectural details in three dimensions.
  • Working knowledge and ability to use programs such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Benefits

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $55,000 annually and is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the British Columbia Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful British Columbia applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in British Columbia or perform the position from British Columbia.
