Job Description:

Join our dynamic team at The Green Pineapple today! We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Kelowna budtending team. Previous cannabis knowledge and retail experience is an asset, but a willingness to learn is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis culture, exhibit great customer service and communication skills, as well as have a strong ability to work within a team environment. Our store is located on Bernard Avenue in the beautiful downtown of Kelowna, BC. Our store's operating hours are 9am-11pm, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Provides excellent customer service and education

-Maintains organization and cleanliness of the store

-Strong cash management skills (processing payments, cash handling, learning POS system)

-Follows operational rules, regulations, policies & procedures

-Handles customer feedback and complaints/concerns in a professional, timely manner

-Completes opening and closing procedures

-Adheres to all safety and security protocols

-Ability to work alone and in a team environment

Job Type/Shifts:

-Permanent, part-time

-Mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

-4 hour shifts

-8 hour shifts

Pay:

-$17.00 per hour

Requirements

Job Requirements:

-Minimum 19 years of age

-Valid Selling it Right certification upon hire

-Interest in the cannabis industry

-Adherence to Provincial/Federal Cannabis laws and regulations

-Retail sales experience (preferred)

-Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts
