MISSION

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing supports provided through the live-in treatment services, and ensuring that services provided are person centered, focusing on the achievement of personal outcomes within the organization.

The Pod Group is partnering with this organization to place a resourceful, compassionate, and strategic individual to fulfill the role of the Clinical Manager.

PRIORTIES

  • Management of day to day operations and provide direct service and support to individuals or clients.
  • Ensure that person centered plans are developed and implemented for individuals receiving services.
  • Participate in budget development in relevant areas through the establishment of priorities as they relate to residential service needs.
  • Review quarterly financial results related to staffing, food and supplies, petty cash expenditures, training, maintenance, and replacements.
  • Assist the Human Resources department with recruitment and selection.
  • Provide support, leadership, coaching and mentoring to employees.
  • Resolve conflict resolutions, implement respect for others and encourage opportunities for participation, contribution and growth.
  • Adhere to workplace Occupational Health and Safety requirements, as well as related legislative requirements, to maintain a safe environment for individuals receiving supports.
  • Monitor and ensure the completion of required documentation according to policy, procedure, and relevant legislation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

TALENTS & EXPERTISE

  • Post-Secondary education in Social Services or a related field.
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and CPI certificate.
  • A valid Ontario full (G) Driver's Licence.
  • Supervisory experience in a Not-for-profit, unionized environment is a strong asset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic planning, team building and facilitation skills.
  • Change management experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexible hours as needed, rotating on-call schedule.
