The successful candidate will work on site in Port Hope Monday to Friday 8 hour days.
Role Description / Key Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility and accountability to ensure that all individuals on the construction site are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
• Oversee the execution of field work ensuring it is completed efficiently and effectively while meeting all contractual requirements.
• Monitor the schedule and productivity of work and work constructively with contractors and internal teams to drive improvements.
• Work collaboratively with the contractors and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriers.
• Work collaboratively with the contractor on all aspects of planning to enable efficient work to progress in the field.
• Coordinate field activities between contractors and the site operations team as required.
Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager or Superintendent in a heavy industrial setting.
- Supervisor Training / Certificate.
- Valid First Aid.
- Valid WHMIS
- Previous experience at a nuclear facility is an asset.
- Are you currently eligible to work in Canada? (For example: permanent resident, valid work permit, etc)
